Weekend Workshop:
Fashion Photography
Saturday 10–1: Introduction to the history of fashion photography, studying the images of iconic photographers such as Richard Avedon, Guy Bourdin, Melvin Sokolsky, Helmut Newton, David Lachapelle, Terry Richardson, Mario Testino y Steven Meisel. We will also study the work of Argentine photographers and new tendencies in publication design. How to create a professional portfolio, web site, and promotion materials.
Saturday 2–6: Students will plan a photo shot, from the initial concept to the final production.
- Demonstration of studio lighting. Use of strobe lights, soft box and spot lights. Incidental and reflected exposure meters.

Each student will have the opportunity to photograph in the studio, working with a model, make-up artist and stylist.
Sunday 10–6: Each student will choose a location for a outdoor fashion shoot, applying concepts taught in the previous day. A final image will be choosen for inclusion in the student show.
