Buenos Aires, Argentina

I was born in Buenos Airesgr, surrounded by siblings, magical tales, and
German fashion magazines. As a child, I designed my own clothing and
wrote plays that my brothers acted out.

When I turned 19, I went to study photo

aphy in New York city, where I lived for 11 years. I studied at the International Center of Photography and at Empire State College.

I had the opportunity to study with some of the most prominent photographers in the world, including William Eggleston, Stephen Shore, and Gregory Crewdson.

Among my influences: the Baroque European portraiture collection in the Met, medieval art, Henry Darger's drawings, urban fashion. Working with young designers further amplified my sense of esthetics.

I had my first professional photography job in Madrid, where I lived and worked for one year as Daniel DiCenta's photography assistant for Vogue magazine and Elle Spain. In New York, I worked as a photographer for Ford agency and Elite Model Management.

I have exhibited my work in the International Center of Photography, in Praxis Miami, and Praxis Buenos Aires. I am currently represented by the CVZ Contemporary Art gallery in New York.

Fashion interests me as a visual system of understanding history in relation to modern life. I find it interesting that Coco Chanel dressed high society ladies in gray, just as she dressed as a child in an orphanage, or how Yves Saint Laurent dressed a woman in a suit for the first time as a way of representing the modern woman.

I approach my fashion photography work, my personal art projects, and my photography courses with intensity and passion, searching for new ways of observation.
